Austin Kleon's books are great little no fluff kickstarters. I can't recommend them highly enough if you need a little motivator. Reading them helps get me out of my own head and get down to the work at hand. He demysiifies the process basically do the work, a little everyday keep the flow and momentum goung. As a busy Mum i've learnt how to make my time count and get down to work when I need to but he emphasised something that really helped me given the choice of an hour a day or 1 dedicated day a week for design he'd take the hour a day every time. I've been implemeting that lately and rather than having acouple of dedicated days a week i've found my designs have gone much smoother when i'm exercuining that muscle a little everyday. there's more fluidity I can easily pick up where I left off without that disjointed feeling and I don't forgot the actions i've just used in PSD and AI.
